How long will my shipment take to arrive?

Shipping time depends on two factors: the product items on your order and your shipping location. With the exception of a few lines, most items will ship out in 2 days from when you place your order. A few of these exceptions are listed below followed by a table of general estimated shipping times for the United States and U.S. territories.

  • Solaray and KAL: two business days should be added to the estimates.
  • Aubrey: please add three days to the estimated ranges below.
  • Doctor's Best: four business days should be added to the estimates.

How do you ship?

We ship via USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground. Packages weighing up to 3 lbs. or shipping to a P.O. box ship by way of USPS Priority Mail. Packages that are 3 lbs. and over ship UPS Ground. You may also indicate a preference for one of these carriers by including it in your shipping address with asterisks, or by contacting customer service at 1-800-425-3115 or questions@smartbomb.com.

Please remember that it usually takes SMARTbomb 24-48 hours to process an order before it is shipped. Because of our Fresh Smart Philosophy some orders may take a little longer.   • SMARTbomb.com offers discounted prices on 2nd Day & Next Day Air Shipments based on weight and destination.
  • 2nd Day Air is guaranteed two-day delivery to all 50 states and Puerto Rico by the end of the second business day. This excludes P.O. Boxes.
  • Next Day Air Saver is guaranteed overnight delivery to all 50 States (excluding Puerto Rico) by 5 pm the next business day. This excludes P.O. Boxes.
  • Free & Flat rate shipping do not apply to Next Day & 2nd Day Air Shipments.

INTERNATIONAL & CANADIAN SHIPPING

  2. UPS Worldwide Expedited: Guaranteed two to five day delivery.
  3. UPS Worldwide Saver: Guaranteed one to two day delivery.

All International and Canadian Orders are shipped via UPS based on weight and destination. Please note: since we do not ship international orders in partial shipments, your order will not ship until all items are in stock to ship the order as complete. As certain product lines take more fulfillment time than others, we will keep you informed through e-mail with timely order status updates.

Before you place your order, please be aware of your local customs laws concerning the shipment of dietary supplements. We cannot be held responsible or accountable for any taxes, duties, tariffs or any quarantine fees or package warehousing fees assessed by your local customs office.

You are fully responsible for all taxes, duties, tariffs and customs laws imposed on any of your SMARTbomb.com orders imported to your country.

We cannot be held responsible or accountable for any costs that you incur in relation to the processing of your international order. If an international order is destroyed or seized, you will not receive a refund.

If an item is returned to us due to a customs related issue, you will be billed a 5% restocking fee. In addition, your credit card will be charged the extra shipping costs incurred by SMARTbomb.com to retrieve our package. You will only be credited for merchandise when the package is returned to us in the same condition it was sent.

We indicate the contents of all international packages as "Food Supplements - Not for Resale". We cannot write "gift" on any international packages.

How do I choose expedited shipping?

We realize that the option for expedited shipping is especially important during the holidays and when dealing with time-sensitive health concerns. You may request a package be sent Next Day or Second Day Air by contacting customer service at 1-800-425-3115.

  • Expedited shipping is by UPS only.
  • The cost is determined by the weight and destination of your shipment.
  • Expedited shipping is not available for P.O. box or international addresses.
  • We request that you make these requests by phone only, as it is the best way for us to check stock status on your order in real time. This way we can help you to make the best decision regarding the cost and timing of this service while saving you valuable shipping time.

With the exception of some lines, most orders take between 24-48 hours to process and ship out within 1-3 business days from ordering. Expedited shipping will not speed up this processing time, only the time-in-transit. Of course, if your items are on hand when you place your expedited order, we will push to get your products out as soon as we process your order. We will inform you by way of e-mail soon after you order when you can expect your items to ship.

Why did my package get returned to you?

We know that a package "bouncing back" to us can be one of the most frustrating experiences for our customers when ordering online. If a shipping address is incomplete, or is inappropriate to the carrier that you have requested, your package will be returned to us. To help prevent this from happening, we have provided some useful information so you can make sure your address is complete and appropriate to one of the shipping carriers we offer. Some common ways that an address would be incomplete or inappropriate for the carrier are listed below.

Incomplete address:

  • Package is shipping to a business or private company and address as entered did not include building name.
  • Apartment, building, or suite number was not included in address.
Inappropriate for carrier:
  • Package was requested to ship by way of USPS and there is no mail receptacle at shipping location.
  • Package was requested to ship by way of UPS to a P.O. box address.
Occasionally, USPS and UPS will decide to not leave your package at your location if you are not home to receive it and they cannot find a secure place at which to leave it. They will usually leave a notice with details of where you can pick up your package, usually at your local USPS or UPS office/hub. If you need help with this process you are welcome to contact us by calling 1-800-425-3115 or e-mailing questions@smartbomb.com. Alternatively, you can try their toll free number. For your convenience, we are including a method for finding the contact information for your local area office on the web. The steps are listed below.

How do I find the phone number for my local USPS post office?
  • Copy down your shipment's USPS tracking number, which begins with "9101".
  • Go to USPS Post Office Locator by typing www.USPS.com in your search window and once you are there, click "Locate a Post Office".
  • Enter your shipping address in the provided fields.
  • Click "Search" button. Results are listed in order distance in miles from your shipping location. If the local office number is not listed under "Phone", but instead has "1-800-ASK-USPS", click "more info" and the page that comes up should contain the local office number.
  • Have your tracking number ready to give to the USPS employee when you call.

Why do you only use UPS for international shipments?

We use UPS for their excellent tracking functionality, competitive delivery times and customer service follow-up. USPS priority is often less expensive, but does not currently offer the tracking and follow-up to meet our standards of customer service. When our customers access the tracking information through UPS and are assured that their shipments are guided to their destination at every step of the way, they are more likely to choose our international service again and again.

How is the shipping fee for my international order determined?
Shipping fee is based on the weight and destination of your package. We determine this fee by entering the weight of your shipment and location into our UPS world ship program. In some instances, this fee can be equal to or greater than the total cost of the items. This would occur with orders that have a lot of weight and/or for packages that will be traveling a large distance.
